Growing Philosophy
Our farm grows and sells the highest quality, highest nutritional value, and safest fruits and vegetables for our customers...
Growing Philosophy
THINK FOOD SAFETY is our central theme to both our retail and wholesale growing operation. We are in the business of growing food that people eat and must keep that in mind in every aspect of what we do. We want our customers to benefit from the highest nutritional value of our produce without any safety risks. Successful growing starts with a cleanly seeding process. We clean and sanitize everything before use to reduce harmful molds and fungi. We sanitize everything before transplanting. We wear rubber gloves to eliminate the spread of plant and human bacterial diseases. We keep growing areas clean of debris at all times. We use only Organic certified products for pest and fungus control. At harvest time, we clean and sanitize everything that comes in contact with our produce. Every piece of piece of edible produce that leaves our farm will meet our mission statement of being the highest quality, highest nutritional value, and safest produce on the market.
We grow Apples, Beans, Beets, Blueberries, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cantaloupe, Celery, Corn, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Herbs, Honeydew, Kale, Lettuce, Microgreens, Peas, Peppers, Pumpkins, Radishes, Scallions, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries, Swiss Chard, and Tomatoes, and Watermelon.
Most all of our crops are grown in using Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and Hydroponic growing techniques. All of our crops are provided the ideal growing environment which yields the freshest, highest quality, highest nutritional value for your diet.
Although we are not certified, we use Organic growing practices for all of our crops. We use non-gmo seeds, organic seeds, organic growing media, and organic fertilizers whenever possible. This allows us to keep the costs down but quality and food safety high.
We harvest our crops fresh daily and sell them at our Farm Market from 10am to 6pm everyday of the week. This year our Farm Market is open from 4/28/23 to 10/31/23.
